Less than one month to go until Flood Risk Management 2010 (FRM2010) a free to attend showcase exhibiStion for flood, water, and land drainage management in the UK and Europe . FRM2010 is being held on the 22 and 23 September 2010 at the East of England Showground, Peterborough .
Important speakers over the two-day event include Laura Nola (From the Italian Association of Drainage Authorities, ANBI) at the ADA Conference, Lord Chris Smith (Chairman, Environment Agency) at the ADA Gala Dinner. Helen Phillips (Natural England), David Hickman (Lincolnshire CC) and Sass Willis (Cambridgeshire CC) and Jean Venables CBE (ADA ) will be speaking at free to attend seminars throughout Thursday 23rd.

FRM2010 is for those involved in making land management, planning and construction decisions, bringing a wide range of knowledge from across the industry under one roof. On Thursday 23 September free seminars will enable visitors to learn from leading names in water level management. A key topic being discussed will be the implementation of the Flood and Water Management Act 2010.
Over 75 stands have already been booked by specialist exhibitors including the Environment Agency, pumping and aquatic control specialists, civil engineering companies, hydrographic engineers, suppliers of plant machinery, environmental advisors, surveyors and insurers.
FRM2010 will be an excellent opportunity to discuss what is happening to reduce flood risk across Britain and view innovative technology being developed to enhance and maintain Britain ’s watercourses. Throughout both days’ representatives from Internal Drainage Boards and the Environment Agency will be on hand to discuss their role in managing water levels and flood risk management across England and Wales .
